Why Scanned PDFs Appear Sideways

Scanners and phone cameras sometimes save pages with the wrong orientation. A document can also contain mixed directions: one page upright, the next sideways, and an appendix upside down. Rotate PDF tools fix that by changing selected page rotation.

This workflow shows thumbnails so you can identify problem pages before processing. Select all pages for a whole-document correction or choose only the pages that need attention.

90 Degrees or 180 Degrees

A 90 degree clockwise or counterclockwise turn is useful for pages scanned on their side. A 180 degree rotation fixes upside-down pages. Unselected pages are preserved unchanged, including their dimensions and orientation.
